Lost connection issue

What is up with MySQL?? I have a site that is database driven and about 65% of my pages come up with a lost connection error. Error says
[INDENT]Error Executing Database Query.
[Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.27-standard-log]Lost connection to MySQL server during query [/INDENT]
If it was just once or twice, it would be different but almost every single page is having this issue. When I refresh, it is fine but I can’t figure this out.

I would put in a trouble ticket but haven’t quite figured out where to put it in at. I logged one from my admin account about a month ago for a totally different issue and nothing ever happened so I figured that must not be the right place. ?(

It is a known issue with ODBC sockets and CF. Create a ticket and support will create a DSN directly in CF admin ( i.e. a native JDBC connection).
