We have a few customers that are requesting larger mailbox sizes. Somewhere from 500MB to 1GB. Is there any issue with having a mailbox quota of 1GB on the mail servers here? If they have something that large, do we have to use imap instead of pop3? Will they run into any issues with using webmail?

You can use mailbox upto 1GB on the shared mail server.However, it is best if you consider our vps plan for such customer.

We recommend them to use IMAP.
Will they run into any issues with using webmail?
Webmail may run slow in such case.
