Monitoring Traffic on a LAN?

Hi,

I’m having a hooooooorrible time trying to monitor the traffic on my network. Here’s my current configuration:

ISP → Router (RVL200; SNMP-capable)-> 24-port switch

I need to be able to track the bandwidth traffic usage for each device connected to the switch, preferably by mac address. Please point me in some directions.

Is your switch SNMP capable? If it isn’t, no real hope of making this work.
