I’d like to move a domain from Windows to Linux hosting in my reseller account. I don’t want to move the whole account, just a single domain within it. The domain happens to be my own (not be my service domain but the one under which my billing/contact email and other info is located). Unfortunately, that domain is hosted under an account with quite a few other domains. I want all them to stay where they are.
I’ve moved a whole account before (see my discussion at Moving a site from Windows to Linux - Customer Only Discussion - JodoHost Web Hosting Community ). I’m wondering if there’s another way since all I want to move is just the one domain. And really, only the www portion needs to move. Mail and database could stay the same.
I’m fine with downtime on my web site. But I really want mail to remain uninterrupted. And I don’t want to screw up anything with the other domains hosted under the account.
Suggestions?
