I submitted a support ticket requesting information on how to backup my SQL database via SMS. I was able to back it up successfully, but can’t figure out how to actually download it so I can save a copy locally.

In the mean time I need to transfer all of the data to a new domain I’ve set up. They can’t share the database, so I need a copy of the data transferred to the new domains database.
Should I just submit another ticket and request that specifically? If so, what info would I need to include in the ticket?
Hello, it is not on every server yet and i am finalizing graphics, but on many of the servers simply go to http://mssqlX.yourservicedomain.com/mssql and you will find a backup and restore tool.
Is there a limit to the size of the files that it will restore? Also, is the web tool smart enough to force the restore to use the db files created from the hsphere control panel?
Would this backup tool be available from the MSSQL Manager link from the control panel? When I try that I keep getting this and never even get a chance to login:
Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Okay, I understand now. I thought the original link in this thread was referring to a mssqlX subdomain of my domain, that’s why I was wondering if using an external DNS would interfere. Now I see it’s referring to the actual SQL server. Anyway, it works, thanks a lot!! I really like being able to do backup/restores on my own without having to wait on a support ticket.
