We shall be doing a upgrade for MSSQL2005 server for mssql1.go**** . This is to resolve the incompatibility of mssql2005 with asp.net3.5 which is causing errors on DNN.
Affecting Server :- mssql1.go****
Approximate Down Time:- 30 - 45 min.
Start Time :- 25th Dec - 2:00 AM EST
This will be taking place in a little more than 10 min now.
Starting now, mssql service will be stopping within the next 5 min
updates are running now.
the update is still going strong, maybe taking a little longer than I planned but still going well.
we are about to the end of the update it does say we will need a reboot but still a couple minor subitems to update
Upgrade complete, and rebooted. All MSSQL services up.
The update has been completed successfully, which was needed very much.
However this has not solved the issue of asp.net not able to connect to mssql server. We shall do a detail research on this as well as to what could be the cause.
