MSSQL10 had had a member of its RAID array to fail and we are needing to replace the drive, at the same time there is a software update available for SQL2005 that we will be performing. There will be a 20-40 minute outage as we perform this hardware and software maintenance.
This maintenance is starting now.
All checks are back up after the updates and hardware replacement, the RAID however has gone into rebuild and may make things a little bit slower on IO than usual.
RAID rebuild is at 75% now so moving along well and should be back at full IO in 30 minutes or so.
The rebuild completed at 12:53am maintenance fully completed.
