Well I think you have scheduled restart of SQL Server, this is not a solution, everyday I receives “System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): SHUTDOWN is in progress” error.
MSSQL 4 seems to be fine right now. Kindly update us in a support ticket with database name in which you are getting such error. So we can investigate it further.
We don’t have any scheduled restart of MSSQL, this is not a solution at all. The MSSQL server is having plenty ram and very low on usage, so this should not be an issue. I am having the tech team report to me if they restart or do any changes on the server now.
Right now again I have this issue:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) —> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password
Could you please look.
Regarding scheduled restart, I had received SHUTDOWN is in progress" error on multiple days, that is why I thought it is scheduled.
