I’m trying to login to the MSSQL manager for MSSQL7 and can’t seem to get it to work.
Is there something tricky I need to do like use an IP instead of name for host?

not on mssql7 right now. it is open directly.
To: Stephen, MSSQL7 has been very slow most of this day. Slow means 30-90 seconds to load a page. 5 minutes plus to download 794 kb of records.
Is this DB Server undergoing maintenance or moving process?
kindest regards, nti
MSSQL7 is not yet, but will be in the coming 2 weeks. We will be moving it in sync with others as best as possible and when it comes time to do mssql1-9 they will also be upgraded to SQL 2008 R2. I also just checked the performance on it and it is running at quite low utilization and no signs of recent brute force attacks.
Followup details.
I checked my internet connection for download and it clocks at 32.90 Mbps.
I checked my script at another DB and 794kb of db recs download in less then 15 secs.
I believe it’s a mysql7 snag.
Kindest regards, nti
MSSQL7 or Mysql7?
mysql7
We don’t see much utilization on server.
Could you please provide us steps to replicate the issue.
We suggest you to open a support ticket stating DB details and steps to replicate the slowness at our end.
