According to this page ( http://www.jodohost.com/windows.asp) , I should have a MySQL 5 database, yet when I log into phpMyAdmin I get this: MySQL client version: 4.1.15
Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if we just don’t have mySQL 5 support yet?
jodohost.com is directly reflecting cluster2 NOT cluster1, if you are on cluster1 (m****here.biz) you are still on MySQL4
I’m not sure exactly sure what you mean, but I’m on win19 (windows shared).
Is there any way I could move over to cluster 2 and get MySQL 5?
If you sign up for a new account it will be on cluster2, but we can not move between clusters, in the coming months we will upgrade cluster1 to hsphere 3.x(probably 3.1) and this will allow us to use MYSQL5, however in this regard I am not sure it will be upgraded to MySQL5 on the mySQL4 servers, we will have to check that ebfore taking that route.
Just to add, the current MySQL servers for cluster1 will be upgraded to MySQL 4.1. MySQL 5.0 will be available for new accounts only for cluster1 users once we are Hsphere3.
in ticket [RS #BSY-68422-475] I was notified that version 3.5 is the only supported by servers.
? 3.5? 3.5 is a driver numer and the latest one, must be some confusion in there

Correct. 3.51 is the MySQL driver version. MySQL .net connector is still at 1.0
