mysql10

D’oh, I’m an idiot.

I saw the reboot notice at the same time my issues arose and the DNN error was giving me a notification that it could not connect to MSSQL10 however Ashwani solved it using an unrelated approach.

Possible a corruption that came forward after the SQL connectivity was lost during the reboot, or at least that’s all I can guess.

Anyway sorry about the MS vs My SQL misread and posting in the wrong thread.

As I said, I’m an idiot or at least have moments if idiocy.

I didn’t mean it like that at all, just was saying that we are talking different issues here. I think you may have been in the installer during the one hour early issue with MSSQL10(query hung), that caused some lingering problem, then he finished it off and cleaned up and it worked.

No worries, just a bit pissed at myself for not reading the thread title correctly.

FYI, I wasn’t into the installer at all for quite awhile and it was my client who noticed his site was not coming up properly, going to the under construction page. Jumping to the install.aspx?mode=off page I found the connectivity error, saw the read-only post on mssql10 - then jumped to this thread misreading it as a MSSQL discussion.

ok got it, I wasn’t sure the entire series of events there and I saw the chat but it was pretty short as Ashwani got it fixed quickly

Short in words, not in time unfortunately, but that’s all relative.

Speaking of time, you’re up way too early.
