Are there problems with mySQL2 recently? It seems to have been up and down a bit over the weekend and down at the moment?
Is there a monitor for mySQL as there is for Windows, Linux and Mail servers?

Mysql2 comes under SQL Check for Unix3. Our monitoring system runs test queries on mysql every 60 seconds. I only see one 5 minute outage today that was taken care of by the team
