mysql8 has been completely unreachable for an hour and a half – since about 10:07am eastern today. I see you are dealing with a DOS attack… this server seems to be taking a huge it, i have at least 3 sites that depend on it, and they fail completely.

It wasn’t this server taking a hit, just that some of the cross switch communications may have been throttling due to the attacks size over a gigabit, it was causing some issues even internal connections.
