need help with remote connect to MS SQL using Aqua Data Studio.
keep getting errors:
Connection failed:Login failed for user xxx
Anny one?
I am downloading this program now so I can test it, as I have never heard of it.
I downloaded this application, and connected right away.
and, I really like the app!
It is VERY fast for a java app, and I am quite impressed with its ability to work with so many Dbs and ease of use.
Make sure when you connect you use the MSSQL 2000/5 but not the MSSQL 2000/5 - ODBC
Then supply your logon details, be sure to include the username_loginname with the username_ prefix included.
Still no succes… culdn’t connec!
here are the parameters:
Name: Anny Name
Type: Production
Login Name: my FTP user name
Password: my FTP password
Authentication: SQL Server Authentication
Host: my domain IP
Port: Empty (for defult)
Folder: Empty
Please Advice
I set this up last night and the Login User & Password should be a MS SQL Server User Name and Password, Not your FTP User name and Password.
Go to the MS SQL Manager and create a SQL User.
Also, Host should be the IP or host name found in the MS SQL Server info, and NOT your domain IP.
Correct on all accounts 
use the MSSQL login, not FTP.

After many try’s i replace the DB user login password and… it works. (looks like i forgot the first pass i set… )
I hop you will like this app, i used it alot and very happy with it.
