.NET Facebook Application Hosting

Hi, I have a Facebook App I developed in ASP.NET 2.0 and MS SQL 2005.

I was thinking of taking one of your sem-dedicated accounts. Will this be ok for me?.. Bascially because of the nature of Facebook applications, apps can grow from 1 user to 10,000 users over night. Seeing as i don’t want to overspend, but would rather start up with something that could handle the load/traffic, what do you guys recommend?

Start with a Semi-Dedicated and move to dedicated if i need to?

Also, Just out of curosity, what kind of traffic/load/request per second, i could confortable handle on the semi-dedicated account?

Thanks
Ray.

We are not having any accounts available on semi dedicated at this time.

We recommend instead the Windows VPS accounts.

The VPS accounts can handle a very substantial amount of traffic, we have some very active sites on the WinVPS servers.

These very active sites… any idea of what kind of load they handle comfortably?

Well, we have have some with over 3000 users online at a time (on a well programmed asp app)

I can’t give URLs due to privacy, but if a WinVPs user wants to come and give that is fine.
