When I subscribe to the Network Outages forum, my only subscription options are daily or weekly. This isn’t very useful… I’ll find out about outages from clients before I get to know what’s going on myself!
Is there a way of getting in instant notification of new threads in that forum, and for General Announcements?

Any scheduled downtime is always emailed to customers. If there is any unexpected server outage, we post information about it on the forum. If it was a long unexpected outage affecting alot of customers, we email that information out as well

Thanks Yash, however my point is that it’s the unexpected outages, as posted on the Outages forum, that we need notification of AS THEY HAPPEN.
Knowing about unexpected outages after the fact is not very useful, as I’m sure you can understand.
Isn’t it just possible to allow instant notification in that forum? That would be a very easy thing to do, if vBulletin allows it, and then we will know about unexpected problems straight away, and will know what to tell our clients at the time, or when they contact us.

BJ - just go into the forum itself, then click “Forum Tools” at the top, and select the Subscribe option.
