I just spent the past hour or so (10.30-11.30AM EST) trying to reach resources on the jodohost network.
Everything, including the main jodohost domain was down from here (though, strangely, not support.jodohost.com). Couldn’t see any issues listed for the backbone routers in the Florida region, so figured you were dealing with a DDOS attack like a few weeks ago when we had a similar outage pattern.
But when things finally came back online just now, I “talked” to your chat staff (Anuj) and was told that there were no problems and had been no problems all day – so what was my problem?
I know for a fact that I was not “seeing things”; I could get to other resources at random points on the web, so it wasn’t my local access – but was this a weird partial intra-regional glitch that didn’t affect jodohost being seen from Delhi-Florida, but might have affected jodohost being available from Florida-New England?
Just curious if anyone else out there had a similar experience or if the jodohost team could shed some light on this?
Hello,
We got another report of a site down too, but w visited from TX, FL, Delhi and some proxies and could not see the issue ourselves.
This forum is off network, so it is why it works.
That begin said I am talking to internap trying to see what’s going on with some incoming routes.
I just exchanged some mails to someone saying their site was down, but I visited it, and it has the usual 80+ members logged in right now and chatting away, so its some routing issues, NOT our network by any means, its somewhere outside I am trying to get some traceroutes from anyone affected, so if you can supply will be most useful.
in addition, if you could download winMTR and send some output of it, I would be most thankful(Internap will ask for it)
Edit: you can mail that to me as well, you don’t have to post it here, I believe you know my address, we’ve exchanged a lot of mails.
OK, have confirmed there are other reports of problems, but they need us to collect traceroutes to/from the places not being able to be reached in order to find the common problem that is making the routing problems.
Again this is outside network, an not affecting most clients, but we do have some reports, and they do as well. since you said it is up now for you, I will post this on the network status if anyone can assist.
Seeing quite a few issues here too:
