I must say, in the years I’ve been here with Jodo, I’ve always been impressed with the level of detail supplied when there are server problems etc.
For example, I noticed a client’s site was down about half an hour ago, and sure enough there was already a couple of status updates on the SQL server in question which is having issues. There was this update:
We rebooted it to resolve it most quickly, but that turned out to not be the case.
The tech is stuck in traffic right now (had gone out to lunch) and will be about 20 minutes.
This is so excellent, as not only does it give us a detailed idea of what’s happening (doesn’t have to be technical), but it’s stuff we can tell our clients, which is awesome. Whatever problems occur, it’s really just information we need, and Jodo has always been great with that.
I would only wish for 2 things, which are just technical:

Some kind of tagging system, where the thread is tagged with the server(s) which are affected. eg. “CL2-SQL2”. Then, in each our profiles, we also add tags, of the servers we want to watch. Then when a thread is started with one of those tags, we are auto-subscribed. Maybe there’s a vBulletin plugin for that sort of thing?

Some way to reply or just add a “thanks” to the support posts to show our appreciation for the excellent work you guys do.
