The move to the new data center and extra services is great. I have 2 questions.

  1. Is the current servers at NAP being moved or going to stay where they are at?

  2. Are resellers going to be able to resell dedicated servers under our brand name and nameservers?

I have still been holding off using this other dedicated server company waiting on you guys.

I am also interested in the dedicated servers, both for myself and for reselling.

Definately.
We are going to be introducing HSPComplete as a platform to manage and resell both windows vps and dedicated servers.

We do plan to relocate some servers. Plans for this were drawn up way back in october, 2006.

Any such server relocation would be announced. Any servers that will be moved, will be done so in small batches. We won’t be abandoning the NAP, infact we will be maintaining a contract there for the foreseable future. We also plan to stregthen to our network between the two datacenters (adding multiple redundant lines).

Please note, since both datacenters would be in the same network, any relocation would simply mean the time it takes to move the servers (which would be under 30 minutes). The server would be instantly routable when plugged in at MiaX.

Also.. nothing will change in terms of our network. The providers, the IP and everything will remain the same. We will however optimise some network parameters to reduce points of failures and streamline the network to prevent major issues in the future, as we grow. That is the main reason Tanmaya and Stephen are both in Miami now, setting up equipment and working out network arrangements

let me also add we aren’t the only host that is planning to move out of the NAP. Another host also at the NAP has taken a 200 square feet cage next to our’s. Another, very large host we have known for a while is also planning to take space at MiaX, and setting up a network between Nap at MiaX

the NAP is out of space in their built colo areas, it is the main reason for the power restrictions and limits they place on the few available sqaure feet that are left.

They have gone from being a (near) bankrupt datacenter 4 years ago to fully occupied, quite good :slight_smile:
