New Server: MSSQL8

We have just added and tested a new MSSQL 2000 SP4 server. Details as below:

Windows 2003 Standard Edition
AMD Dual Core 265
4GB ECC REG DDR RAM
73x3 RAID5 Ultra320 SCSI Array

All new windows end-user accounts will have MSSQL databases hosted on MSSQL8. Resellers are requested to add MSSQL8 as an alias before activating a new windows account. You can do so by:

  1. Logging into your Reseller Admin CP
  2. Visiting E.Manager > Server Aliases
  3. Clicking Submit at the bottom of the page
