It seems to be all back up again, but we had no access at all to jodohost.com or any hosted sites for the past 3 hours. I didn’t see any status update on @Jodohost, so I guess it was a downstream network issue?
It was something in singapore as far as I can tell.
As i was cut off from accessing our singapore servers (we have some there for internal usage) but the India office was able to reach them without issue.
There are in fact still some issues in the net surrounding Singapore, as those connections there are flapping up and down a lot now.
Cool, thanks. Not that I know much about the technicalities, but isn’t the Interwebs supposed to be designed to route around such flaps?
Should be yes, but I know my singapore servers were 100% down to my location in the US for about 2 hours time. I also know that I checked on just-ping.com from around the world to us and all but one location was up and that one was down for everything I was testing. Even the Australia check points, so it was a bit odd that you would be down so long really.
