Hi we have posted several days ago a ticket, post on forum and we keep with the same problem.. web need some help PLEASE!
Hi, a couple of weeks ago we had these issue, when we added new domains to our server, it changed the dns to ns3 and ns4. Before they were ns1 and ns2. So we changes added on our domain pymeactiva.com the new dns:
***As requested, We have added the following DNS.
***ns3.pymeactiva.com → 204.14.104.150
***ns4.pymeactiva.com → 204.10.105.200
This was on date 10/08 and we are still having problems with the new domains we have added.. for example:
estudiolacubeta.com as you will see the domain is not working with our server.
Please can you let us know what is the problem. I have this client waiting for 2 weeks already..
Thanks
Stephen

You have not changed the DNS servers at the registrar.
Your NS records at the parent servers are:
ns1.pymeactiva.com . [204.14.104.114] [TTL=172800] [US]
ns2.pymeactiva.com . [204.14.105.84] [TTL=172800] [US]
Still pointing to old, that is the only problem.

Hi Stephen,
I double check at my registrar(register.com ) and I can see:
So certainly theyre added. After that, do I need to do something else on my reseller control panel?
Or I need to contact register.com support?
You can see my register.com screen here: http://pymeactiva.com/register.jpg
And my control panel, e. manager, server aliases, here:

Please advice me on this issue ASAP.
Thanks in advance, Ignacio.
They exist, but they are not set as the active nameservers, so the site won’t work.

Sthepen,
Thanks for you quick answer.
How do I activate them? I need to ask for that to my registrar?
Ignacio.
Who is the registrar, I can probably tell you how.

If Jodo doesn’t already have it… this would be good to put into an how to for the various major registrars.

Register.com

We have the flash tutorials on creating DNS, but not on setting it as the nameservers.

Not many options there, you don’t WANT to delete 1 and 2, but you don’t want them to be active for that domain either.

Your name servers are registered correctly, what you’ve done wrong is registered the domain using
NS1.PYMEACTIVA.COM
NS2.PYMEACTIVA.COM
So you need edit the domain in question (estudiolacubeta.com ) and use ns3.pymeactiva.com & ns4.pymeactiva.com instead of ns1 & ns2.
-select estudiolacubeta.com
Modify DNS (link on top navigation menu)
check the options to delete ns1 and ns2
add ns3 and ns4
check email to confirm DNS change
I think thats how you do it on register.com
