No paging file ?

I don’t remember if I moved this settings in the first moment I received my VPS (272), but when I looked in the System->Virtual Memory options I saw this:
Total paging size for all drives 2046.

But then I clicked to “Change” and I saw “No paging file” was selected!

So, do I have or do I have not a paging file ?
How does it come by default?

It shares the system page file only.

It is also way larger than 2046

Ok, well, but my doubt then is, should I add a system page file for my VPS? does it help some way ?

KB #1296 - [Info] Does the Virtual Private Server (VPS) have its own page file?

should answer, it won’t work basically

ooooh, so, that’s explain why I ran out memory so easy when I used SQL Server in my VPS :frowning:
