Hiya,
I have several .bak files which are automatically generated from the daily backups from a MS SQLServer2000 database. Does anyone know how I can open these or point me in the direction of a good (cheap/free) tool to do the same?
Thanks,
NC

you have to restore them to a sql server. I don’t think you can just ‘open’ them with any tools.
Jonyah, thanks for that. Not exactly what I was hoping for
But appreciated none the less.
Jonyah is correct, they have to be restored on a SQL server, and can not be otherwise opened and used directly.
