Our own webmail system???

Is it possible to set up our own webmail systems, so that we can fully customise and brand them as resellers?
If so, how does this work, with existing users etc. Or do we set it up, and create a new database which stores users in. Which I assume would have to be manually entered.

Thanks for the help anybody!!

You will need 3 of them since there is 3 servers…

Ok. And how does it work then? We need 3 installtions of the webmail software, each one pointing to a different server?

But, how does the database’s work. Do we link to the existing ones, if so, how. Or not?

I wish to set up my own Squirelmail then I can customise it.

Thanks Dave.

can no jodo staff help me with this?

Thanks

I take that as a no then?

Im a little concerned that Jodo quite often doesnt respond to many topics here. Do I have to open a ticket for every question?

Thanks

Maybe those will help some.

Yeah thanks, I have seen them. But it doesnt explain how its done.
Thanks

For that you would have to rely on the documentation and support of the webmail system you are installing. As for the HSphere side of things, I would assume you could find it in the HSphere docs. But I haven’t actually looked.

There is no database

All the setting are on the mailserver…

Bored_admin, generally for each webmail, you need to setup its web interface and its backend to store preferences. Just follow their docs and do the install. You may even do a local install, test and upload.

There is no need for 3 webmail, one for each server. You can set one that allows to select servers. I’m sure many are already using it this way.

Also, forums are not the primary mode of support and thus not all posts may be replied by the support staff.
