I need to know if allow_url_fopen is enabled for PHP on your Unix/Linux servers.

fopen() works with URLs yes (tested on Web2)

Thank you. I have a client who has a shopping cart that requires this. I am having to find a host to put them on.

It is actually quite popular, LiteCommerce, from the makers of X-Cart.

Although I am no longer using it and creating my own custom ecommerce sites.
