I have an issue with one of my existing sites, I have a ticket open, but the responses are not acceptable. Why aren’t the linux servers on cluster 1 able to have PHP updated to a more recent version? Or even the latest stable version in the 5.x version? We have a customer that hired a developer to make a Wordpress site that apparently requires 5.6 or above. And tech support just tells me to delete the account and recreate it on windows.. Like that’s a super simple and normal thing? Is there not a way to get PHP updated so it’ll work (not to mention to close any security holes from having an old version anyway)??
We would like to update you that there is no latest release update(s) available for Hsphere , that’s why latest PHP version is not available on Linux servers. To an workaround, we provide latest PHP version manually on Windows servers in Hsphere cluster.
