preventing overages

is there a way to automatically suspend a client’s account when he hits a bandwidth/hd space limit or any other resource i’d have to pay for, so that i wouldn’t get charged for any overage that the client caused?

or anyway to automatically shut me down even, if i go over?

been reading a few of these threads… don’t want to go over

Hsphere allow a combination of setting for this; but when you are using these setting you will not be able to oversell.

However, in Plan wizard, you will find Max limit option for each resources, which you can use to set max limit.

thanks for the reply

this would automatically be applied to any user who signed up previously for this plan, or only new signups?

and the max limit would not let them go over you say, since i couldn’t oversell… right?

yes, as per my experience it will automatically apply to all the users using the same plan. But i really want you to test it by making a small plan in your account, so as to avoid any problems.

Yes, Max limit do not allow a user to use more then the plan resources limit.

okie thanks i’ll try it out

One more thing i want to add here.

MAX limit can ‘only’ stop user from manually increasing specified resource above this limit. Increase in traffic usage is not manual.
