You should have no problem with swf files since they execute on the client site. I believe all flash components execute on the client side
However, if there is something we need to install for this, let me know
thanks, i’ll look into it.
weird thing is, that its a regular HTM file, which is linked to 2 SWF and an FLV file. plays fine on my local version, and played fine on the previous server…
thanks…

I face the same problem, a simplt .flv file doesn’t want to play, my ticket is: RS #JLQ-49705-425

I found that the swf video players provided in dreamweaver quit working at JH following the last update to Dreamweaver CS3. They work great on my dev boxes, by not at JH. I found the best workaround, in my case, was to create the player in Flash CS3 to call the flv and drop that into the needed page.
Works great.
I store the flv’s over at Amazon using their s3 service to reduce server load at JH.![]()
I’ve found WimpyWasp pretty good.
Wimpy Player - HTML5 audio player
That is odd, I wonder what changed in CS3 that made it quit, I don’t know of the technical reason it shoudl not work.
All I know is by following the instructions at http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb402925&sliceId=2
the pages I tried to update on the server, the Dreamweaver video player does not come up, but does on my dev boxes.?(
