Quota confusion

I have a site that I discontinued a couple months back. At the time, I removed all content from except for a single, simple web page. At the time, I was running short on disk space within my reseller plan, so I changed the disk quota for this site to a minimal 10 MB.

For a couple of weeks I have been getting over-quota warning emails about having 26 MB on the site.

I downloaded all the files, including logs, webalizer, content, etc. and it comes to 1.47 MB. There are no email accounts other than the postmaster/webmaster, neither with any mail in their boxes. There’s no database, though MySQL service is turned on.

What else could be taking up space?

Like I said, the site’s been disabled for months. I’ve been getting the warnings for weeks. So, I don’t think it’s an averaging thing.

Thanks,
Tim

Please post ticket with details.

The site was hacked. I just posted a ticket. I don’t know how they could have hacked it. It had just static content and a secure password. I’ve changed the CP/FTP password again, plus I’ve changed my master account password.

FTP is most plausible cause, and it could have been brute forced or pass been on a common passwords list, also some possibility of the gumblar virus/trojan stealing it a long time back and just being used.
