Remote Access to MySQL DB

Is remote access to a MySQL db possible? I need to use the ODBC database API to extract information from a Visual Fox Pro db to a MySQL db hosted here.

it should technically be possible using ODBC between/to the two.

Yes, it is technically possible. I just didn’t know if you allowed remote connections.
