reseller anonimity

Hi,
I’ve a new reseller account on cluster 2,
is it anonymouse like cluster 1?
whois returns and Indian IP Address and India - Apyl Inc Dba Jodo Internet

Is this normal?

Re: reseller anonymousty

IP location is incorrect in a third party’s database. You may report it to them.

Re: reseller anonymousty

This is a good question and brought up before, new servers on cluster1 and servers on cluster2 so Jodo’s name. On cluster 1 older servers show Ip as anonymousis.

Can we get the servers to show without jodo name like before?? When you guys did this before it took forever but it was accomplish. This will help the resellers.

Re: reseller anonymousty

It CAN NOT be done any longer.

ARIN does not accept “anonymous” listings and is going so far as to check state records for corporations to see that they are in good standing.
When there are such ‘anonymous’ listings you are classified as spammer company by ARIN making it hard to get any more IP addresses from them, a problem we have run into very hard of late.

We are not spammers, they do not undersntad explainations that resellers want to have anonymous service name they say only spammers need anonymous, therefore we are at an empasse, provide real name to get new IPs, or start taking everyone’s dedicated IPs back(as we do reserve the right to do in TOS) and use only what we have. We much prefer to continue operations as normal and not disrupt clients business.

How are all the tons of resellers out there doing it then. Seems they are creating new company name just for there resellers and getting the domain for that name used??

We resellers don’t want Jodo name anywhere!

The domain is, the IP WHOIS is totally different. You are talking two different things, if you actually look at the others their IP whois is also not anonymous anymore.

For example:
cp.hsphere.us/psoft/servlet/psoft.hsphere.CP

This is group hosting, hpsheretemplates.com/cpdevel.com

IP Whois, Group Hosting.

cp.hsphere.cc is showing vortech inc now

AsI said ARIn is cracking down in a big way, there is no anonymous IP WHOIS if you want to get more IPs these days!
