I just looked in my logs and found that there have been some bad errors preriodically over the past 25 hours.
The error is as follows:
“System resource exceeded”
These errors occurred consistently yesterday (Monday 9/6) between 16:50:16 and 17:36:22 and again today (Tuesday 9/7) between 16:36:24 and 18:06:01.
These errors happened during database reads that ultimately failed – some reads were as small as a single table that contains 20 rows.
What’s going on?

Just thought I’d give a quick follow-up.
I’ve been watching my logs for the last couple days and have not seen any more of these errors.
Thanks,

Yes, we identified what was causing the problem on all our Win2000 servers
I’ll make an announcement regarding this after another day of monitoring
This problem was responsible for most of the ASP/ASP.NET crashes that were being experienced on Win6
