Is it possible to install and run RoR websites on your Linux VPS?

You have full admin rigths in VPS. So, yes. (I install django, a similar stack on python)

What about RoR as a standard service? Does JodoHost has any plans of supporting this soon?

On Linux side, I plan to look into it after we move our current cluster to Hsphere 3.0.
It can be setup on a VPS account anytime, as mamcx mentioned.
If low on load, it can be shared between a couple of clients of yours too.

Yes, i meant inside a Linux VPS. Try this:

Note: yum may need 200MB+ of RAM to resolve dependencies
