is it just me or anyone else also having this problem?
I tried sending a simple “test email” with subject test and “abc” in the body. they always take more than 60 - 90 seconds to complete!
using outlook, thunderbird and ipad on port 587
sending emails through gmail smtp always go smoothly in just 2 - 3 seconds, but not with your smtp 
Not having this issue, I use 3 mail servers daily, and mail from my laptop, 2 android phones, an android tablet, and 2 hp tablets.
all these are also IMAP push enabled and alert me when a mail comes in. I have surround sound email

I just tried using another ISP, and found no problem. So it’s clear now the problem was with the ISP
