I recently setup a monitoring service the keeps an eye in my websites. These are two sites in the Web7.
Since I have this I’ve noticed that my sites goes unavailable many times a day during very short periods.
For example today:
03:07:10 am CDT
05:46:24 am CDT
05:58:52 am CDT
07:05:50 am CDT
07:13:52 am CDT
07:37 - 07:38 am CDT
08:20 am CDT
Note that the monitoring service is hosted in one VPS account in Jodohost, and they are clear 503 errors, not network errors.
(The service works by requesting a GET request of the index page on root).
Please, give your opinion on this.
fischermx,
There has been an issue with a site on web7 for some days now, I guess a week, they have been working on it and it was so bad it was freezing server for 2-3 minutes. They have gotten it traced down and working to stop the injection, attack etc(i don’t know the full details on it) that was causing, of note is that it was happening basically during US night hours, during the day there would be minimal to no issue.
Its being worked on and they are aware, if you check the status forum it has a few web7 reboots posted due to this, they have gotten it so that reboots are not required as much now with this matter, but it is still causing apache to need to reload.
