server names

Hi, just wondering what the names of servers are. Because thinking of takin up a reseller plan and concerned bout naming of servers relating to anonomity.

You can give any names to the servers when you setup your reseller account.

We however simply name them as win7, win8… mssql4… ns1, ns2… mail1, mail2, mysql2

Server names are pretty generic. Win1 through Win8 for Windows hosting, Web and Web2 for Linux hosting, mssql1-4 for MS SQL, etc.

You can specify different server aliases without problems, but I see no reason why you’d do that. The IP adresses backresolve to generic hostnames from the datacenter JodoHost is in (afaik).
