When I set up my service account it was an unix account, is there an easy way for me to change my account to be a .net account?
Really no ![]()
ok so is there a hard way of changing my service domain?
I am a .net developer and I set this up years ago and would like to change it
Yes it can be done, but it is not easy, it involves basically deleting everything and creating a new service plan for windows, and signing up for it
Stephen, can I change my service account domain? thanks, Ignacio.
Hello Iamar,
As per Stephen instruction , you need to delete service domain from service account. then create a service account plan with windows then you will add domain as service domain plan then you will able to add your service domain with windows server.
NOTE: before you deleted service account take backup of website data and mails. because once you will delete domain from current service domain account all data and mails will deleted from control panel.![]()
Ranjan,
Thanks. Its a quite hard process (we have several domains). There isnt any other way?
Thanks, Ignacio.
