Setting Hard Email Mailbox Size Limits

I?m a little confused as to how to set hard Email Mailbox Size Limits.

I?ve looked here: Step-by-Step Guide to setup Reseller Hosting at JodoHost and I?m a little confused by it.

(I don?t restrict the number of mailboxes that my clients create. I just want to restrict the total size/space they have for all the mailboxes).

Basically how can I set it so my clients cannot change their own email mailbox size?

Thanks for any guidance!

Ok, I think I figured this out from this link
http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation/reseller/limiting_resources.html

So I go to
Info > Plans > Resource

Now Mailbox quota settings is for setting the quota per mailbox.

Does anyone know if there is a quota for all the mailboxes? Is it “Mail Domain” or “Mail Service” or something like that?

You dont have quota for all mailboxes.
But you can try something like this:

  1. Enable summary disk usage.
  2. Limit MAX Disk space Quota
  3. Limit Max DB quota

Since summary disk usage is enabled, max usage will be composite of web+DB+mail. Web and DB being fixed, user should be able to manipulate rest space between his mailboxes.
Not very sure, but something like this may work.

^ oh wow, I’ll try that  Thanks!
