I thought I replied to this thread once but I don’t see anything. Our site went down tonight between 10 minutes and 2 seconds and 19 minutes. Global Up Time phoned me about 3 minutes 47 seconds after the first test failure and by that time had tested our site 3 times. I tested the site and submitted a ticket and was testing the site again when we got a second call from Global Up Time confirming the downtime. By now its been about 8 minutes of downtime. At 11 minutes we got an email from Jodo Host saying our site was up. At 19 minutes after the downtime was detected I tested the site and it was up. Paying a few bucks a month for a website monitoring service beats finding out 7 hours later as in the last failure before we found this service. The company is Global Web Monitor their monitoring service is Global Up Time. and it pays for itself.
