Hello friends,

I wonder which analyzer should be more accurate about web site stats:

WebLog Expert or AWStats

The first one shows me a lot of more users visiting my website…which should I trust more?

It depends on how it counts “visitors” from proxy hits like AOL, one AOL visiotr can have a proxy hit about 40 times from different IPs, if it counts each of these a visitor, it is incorrect. AWStats I believe takes this into account when figuring.

Oh!! I see…thanks a lot stephen…By the way, is it possible to recover the first log files of this month? I know you rotate them every 7 days, but unfortunately I lost them.
