sites down

Hello

Many of my client’s sites are down on win26 - and we see again that at this time of the day - there is little support - no ticket system and nobody on live chat. All you have to do is just restart the pool . ince I am here at jodo almost all my sites are crashing sooner or later. I prefer to pay more for separate app pool. This becomes ridiculous and happens gain and again. Sory to complain but the problem are growing and not solved. For example the slow control panel.

#1 we never charge for app pools, and we freely move to them, I don’t know where you’d get this idea.

#2 no idea what sites you are talking about to check if already in own pool as there are many private pools on win26 already

#3 we don’t move to private pools without confirmation because it prevents asp.net changes from happening(version switches)

And there is a perfectly fine running ticket system, and live chat too, at the time you were trying (by post) there were at least 3 people on chat, they may have been busy helping others however.

Hello Stephen,

I got the idea from discountasp.net - Isolated Application Pool
Each Site in Own App Pool
for secure, reliable hosting
I know that if i open a ticket jodopeople will change the pool - but it is not possible for all domains. If we have the ability to restart the pool from CP or at least to give separate pools- the problems like today that many of my client sites are down for hours will not happen. My clients complain including in local forums about my service - that it is unrelible because of application pool problems /and slow CP - but this is another story/. My clients will gladly pay more for separate pools. However I guess in the root of the problem is psoft and Hsphere.

BUY BUBBLERS

it is not that hard to make a ticket

as for slow CP I rarely ever see this except for between 3am-5am hours it can be slow in searching and some client cp loads when processing traffic/billing.

We are many many times faster than other Hsphere hosts of same size due to goo hardware and managing the DB indexes properly. We can’t just stop billing processes, it will shut us down and many resellers too(for lack of funds)

Stephen,I requested many times the problem site to be moved to separate application pool - what I get is the site moved to another pool with another sites - and the same problems again. Jodopeople, don’t you get it - this is not solving the problems, this is wasting time. So now I have a clients sites that are down every day and when I open a ticket I get useless answer that the site is ok - this could happen when the IIS recycle the pool but this doesn’t solve the problem. So Stephen you write something in the forums but the reality is different. And please don’t deny that there is a problem - I can send you a report from external monitoring - siteuptime. Any ideas how to solve the problem with sites being down every day?

Thanks in Advance!

Ivan, the sites you have given me have been moved to their own pools, I know because I DID IT.

please add substance to the post such that I can actually check like a ticket ID.

I have so many tickets related to app pools that I don’t remember which domains are separate and which not. I remember that you moved some domains. Lets say I have 1 domain in separate pool and this doman is crashing the pool - what can I do to find out what is the problem and to help developer to solve it - I think this will be very difficult on 2003 server , maybe 2008 server will be better.

RAMBLER CLASSIC SPECIFICATIONS

no it is not that hard, it is a log analysis and iisstate output to determine the issue.

2008 wont help anymore than 203 here,` 2003 is very good with this.
