It seems that all the MySQL servers start responding really slowly about this time every day.
Yesterday there was a short window when everything was completely down (SQL).
Is there something happening on your side?
(I opened this new thread and started typing after opening an SQL powered site - it JUST finished loading - 48 seconds).

I just checked some files on my local server (files I was working on both Tuesday and Wednesday) - that indicated it was between 11:40am - 12:55pm both days that the servers were so slow we were not able to get any work done.
It seems odd to have the exact same behavior - slow performance on ONLY SQL servers - at the same time.
I did post a ticket : [SIZE=11px][FONT=Tahoma][FONT=Tahoma]KMQ-98215-834[/FONT] [/FONT][/SIZE]however if there is any delay in the support folks looking at it, the problem might be ‘resolved’ by then!
sounds like you are saying multiple servers by this…but at this time of day we don’t have any scheduled tasks, so it would not be something we have planned making this.
I have linux guys checking ticket on it for profiling out the servers maybe can get some direction from that.
Are you using the remote port on 173.0.136.201,PORT to connect and seeing this, or websites? Are the webste using direct server name, or the port redirection? We’ve seen some doing this, and it using the outside redirection port, I can see how it could be an issue if it + customers all go via that, the sites have direct comms and don’t need to use it, only OUTSIDE networks use it.
BTW mysql9 is used by the ticket desk, and was up and going without issue at that time

We were doing work on three sites - two Joomlas and one WordPress - and all connect to the database via IP address.
One is Web16, the other two are Web17 - all use MySQL10.
I did see it on the control panel when I tried to log a ticket - at that point it was just ‘slow’. I’d guess about 15-20 second page loads.
However, I just double checked, and another domain that was reporting slow-loads/no-loads is actually on MySQL8…I thought it was on 9, so I’m confused now.
Luckily for me Comcast completely wiped out our connection for for a couple of hours, so it was back to the literal drawing board for awhile!
We’ll be working on the same sites tomorrow, so I’ll make sure everyone takes notes and keeps better track!
