One of my reseller clients is having lots of mail returned with the following message:
[email protected]:
Sorry, I wasn’t able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1) I’m not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.
Is this a problem with their email setup? Their SMTP setup? Or with the destination for their emails (they mostly get returned from mail.ru).
One of my client also have the same problam.
I open a ticket about a week ago and exchaing mails with the support but up to now, the problam is still exist.
Mail.ru’s mailserver was block on one of the routes for being part of a DDOS attack. Since the provider failed to produce logs of this incident, they have unlisted mail.ru.
I’m trying to configure my e-mail client. I’m using Outlook 2007
I’m using my e-mail address as a login and my password.
When I test the configuration I can log onto incomint mail server (POP3).
But when I try to send test message I fail with following message: “None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server.” (I set SMTP authentication).
