What is the status on the spam solution you are talking about. I am telling you guys I am looking for other soltuions.
Myself I recevied over 150 e-mails during the morning hours. I am sick of hearing it from my clients. You say you have a solution you are working on, where is it???
I can’t figure this out, you have great services but awful mail services. Why can’t you fix this and these mail servers.
So many I deleted 2 important E-mails mixed up with this crap. X( X( X( X( X(

Let us know when you find that spam free environment your looking for that has all the same or similar hosting features, and price point.
I am not looking for a spam solution, I am looking for anohther company to host with, unless JODO gets it together. I don’t see them trying hard enough. THey need to step up and take action on this crap, I am tired of it, its making things very hard for us…
So many damn spma emaols I deltered 3 imporatant emails this morning.
We can’t give instant results in search, we have many mail servers to protect and we want it to be done right. Mailwise is also delaying in getting their interface for us to make client accounts up. I updated the other thread many times and told you why we can’t give up to the minute updates with that.
I also host at other companies and the problem there is the same. Worldwide spamming has skyrocketed in the last few months. It is time to look at the whole email thing a bit differently and accept the fact that without “you”, your clients, or me, for that matter, doing something beyond what JH (and most other hosting companies) provide to control spam, you can expect just get more and more spam or just get ready to start paying more across the board to get the level of service you demand.
I agree with you that it is out of hand, but put the responsiblity for the problem in the right place. JH is not the bad guy in this issue.
I’m slightly familiar with Postini, however, trying to follow up on your suggestion left me Dazed and Confused In LaLaLand.
Can you provide the ten-second version of how you work with/through postini vis a vis Jodo? Or does the mail even touch Jodo? Also, which service (out of their dozens) are you using? And is that $2/user ID/month? Or is a user defined as a domain?
it touches jodohost you just need to remove MX records hsphere creates and use the ones they give you, that is about all you have to do on this side of things. On Postini side you need to make sure you have the mailboxes made there so they can be managed and pass real mail through.
What is up with these E-mails now. Now these spammers are using a phone number to trick us.

They know how to dodge anti-spam systems, so nothing to be amazed at. One can only work on trying to get most of the known signatures blocked if you want any content filtering to be effetive. This is almost what we are looking at.
