Hi
i have the vps silver account and was wondering if SpamAssassin is aviable on this account. The control panel says its not installed

Should be available, make sure it is enabled in “services” on admin panel.
On the Plesk Components Management page on the control panel its listed and is green. But on the main Virtuozzo control panel i cant find it running in the services.

It is a perl process, it runs as perl.exe and mefilter.exe, so you won’t see it running as a service in the power panel.
i have looked all over and cant see it anywhere lol.. Should i open a ticket ?

I have experienced the same issue on my VPS Silver Plan.
Tech Support is currently investigating for me.
SWSoft said there is a known bug and they are working on this matter.
SWsoft has gone to their developers with the issue and come back with a fixed file for us, if anyone has this in the future we will have the fix available

Nice to know its not just me affected, i thought it was somthing i was doing wrong lol. Is the fix available now or do we have to wait a while

We are running tests to ensure it works on all VPSes, then will be able to install it on others

hello, i believe i am having the same problem… i see SpamAssassin 3.1.8 listed on Components Management section, but not the Services Management section of Plesk Server Administration. and i clearly don’t see anything labeled “SpamAssassin” under any of the mail management sections (server or domain).

Spam Assassin is only included with Power Pack, it is not included with the Plesk 30 install.
i’m pretty sure i have Plesk Unlimited with the Power Pack.

Spam Assassin is there for Power Plesk as mentioned by Setphen.
Don’t look for it as a separate Icon under your VPS and try to configure it.
You will find the Configuration setting for Spam Assassin Server under
Server > Mail > Services > Spam Filtering Tab.
