I think we are still blocked, I got a complaint from a client. I have put a ticket in.
Many servers are still blocked, I have sent 3 looong emails myself explaining the situation and that they have blocked our netblocks while the spamming does not even belong in our netblocks.
However all the mailservers are not blocked now.
I have sadly not gotten a reply yet and typically they are very fast at replying, I don’t know what is going on here.
Ok they said they are not replying to me because we are not the ones blocked, but yet we are becasue they have blocked over 4000 IPs and ours are part of that. ![]()
I’ll post an update very shortly.
OK, there are some spam issues coming out from the entire /20 block of IPs. However, we own several /24 and /23 sub blocks in that /20 block with no spamming records, so we’ve asked SpamHaus to unblock those immediately.
What spamHaus basically does is ask us a series of questions, when we answer those, they wait a few hours and unlist the block. We are hoping to speed this up…

Not sure if we are spam blocked or this is something else.

Nor sure what you mean Stephen, is Hotmail blocking us or not? Those messages said they were not deleivered and will not be??

What is the sender email?
Sender email would be admin at sidelinespool dot ca sent via a DNN module.
Just checked people are able to send mails to hotmail.com & msn.com from same SMTP. Can you ask your client to try again.
