SQL Management Studio?

I tried to install SQL Management Studio 2008 Express .. however, it requires Windows Installer 4.5 or higher …

So .. I download that from microsoft and try to run it … However, it errors out stating that Cryptographic service is not running on the server, make sure it is ..

I check the services and lo and behold .. Cryptographic Service is running …

so now I am at a lost … :slight_smile:

Have anybody found out a way to install the studio on the winVPS?

Make sure the printer spooler is running.

Thanks for the info :slight_smile: It is running, same cryptographic error.

Has some good information, but none to be used on the VPS (either settings were already done, or the steps didnt fix the problem).
