SquirrelMail not working

Just wondering what happened with SquirrelMail. Got calls from several clients tht they can’t login. Error msg: Preference file, ../config/./sqdata/(emailaddress).pref, could not be opened.

This is a problem because ALL of my cleints use SquirrelMail. I know we can use Horde, but most will not know to go that route. LiveChat operator told me there was an upgrade problem. Any explanation on what happened?

Hello Sailor,

With the upgrade yesterday some PHP compile options got changed back to the hsphere defaults. Tanmaya will be working on this on each server today, but it takes some time to perform these options.

This has been corrected yesterday itself. The patch upgrade caused the issue.
