Switch degraded performance - resolved

We are seeing degraded performance from one switch and checking it, there is some packetloss due to this on some servers across winvps, and clusters 1 and 2.

Re: Switch degraded performance

Still checking this, slightly better but still packetloss is happening.

Re: Switch degraded performance

Issue looks to be resolved, one of our power strips seems to have gone bad on the network for us, and it took a while to resolve because it wasn’t showing obvious signs of any trouble.

Re: Switch degraded performance

Still seeing minor packet loss, but gone from 15-20% to about 1-4%, so we are still checking on it.

Re: Switch degraded performance

no more packetloss, so issue is resolved.

Re: Switch degraded performance

We are seeing some slowdowns and packetloss again for the last 20 minutes and working to find the matter fully.

There is a limited subset of servers even impacted by this, and they are not down, but slower than normal.

Re: Switch degraded performance

We are working on this, performance is going up and down in spikes, we are working to isolate the exact cause and sometimes may have a port offline for a minute or two.

Re: Switch degraded performance

Currently new cables are being made for the switch change.
